Advanced Energy Solutions (AES) is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Motive Power Battery and Charger Sales Consultant (Outside Sales Account Manager). As a key member of our sales division, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our industry-leading forklift batteries and chargers to a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the forklift industry, focusing on battery and charger sales.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business.
· Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and develop targeted sales strategies.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales forecasts, set sales targets, and create action plans to achieve company objectives.
· Present product information, technical specifications, and pricing details to customers, demonstrating the value and benefits of our forklift battery and charger solutions.
· Provide customers with expert advice and recommendations, offering tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
· Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, negotiating contracts and closing deals.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and technological advancements to effectively position our products in the market.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, technical support, and product development, to ensure seamless customer experiences and address any issues or concerns.
· Maintain accurate sales records, including customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in sales, preferably in the forklift or industrial equipment industry.
· Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
· Strong knowledge of forklift batteries and chargers, including their technical specifications, features, and applications.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
· Self-motivated and results-driven, with exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
· High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
